How To Change Hostname In Backtrack 5 R2

Hello Friends!!

Today im gonna tell you, how to change host name root@bt to your custom hostname. 

1. Open Terminal
2. Type cd /etc/
3. Hit Enter
4. Type gedit hostname
5. Hit Enter
6. Then a gedit window will open, change bt to your custom host. Then save it.
7. To view changes, reboot your pc.
